　　譯員面對(duì)最多的場(chǎng)合是臨場(chǎng)翻譯，面對(duì)這種沒(méi)有準(zhǔn)備的臨場(chǎng)翻譯譯員一定要有一個(gè)好的心態(tài)，盡量放松不要緊張，這一點(diǎn)很多久經(jīng)“沙場(chǎng)”老譯員基本上都能做到，要讓新譯員做到泰山崩于前而色不變這是不可能的，不過(guò)點(diǎn)出來(lái)可以作為一個(gè)努力訓(xùn)練的一個(gè)方向。新譯員在翻譯現(xiàn)場(chǎng)基本都會(huì)緊張，然后腦子一片空白，所以在訓(xùn)練的時(shí)候譯員要有意地脫離筆記，增強(qiáng)隨機(jī)應(yīng)變的場(chǎng)控能力。這都是增強(qiáng)短期記憶的必要手段。短期記憶在口譯中非常重要，簡(jiǎn)而言之就是如何在十幾秒內(nèi)不忘記剛才說(shuō)話人說(shuō)的內(nèi)容。建議可以每天聽(tīng)聽(tīng)BBC News之類的，練習(xí)聽(tīng)一分鐘短新聞，不做任何筆記然后用英語(yǔ)復(fù)述。進(jìn)階版是聽(tīng)完一分鐘新聞，然后不做任何筆記口譯。如果想對(duì)自己狠一點(diǎn)，可以把你的口譯錄音下來(lái)…然后你就會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)自己翻得亂七八糟…就會(huì)很容易發(fā)現(xiàn)問(wèn)題再因?yàn)樾呃⒍煤镁毩?

　　如果譯員能夠與客戶直接對(duì)話，譯員要爭(zhēng)取在譯前跟客戶好好溝通。爭(zhēng)取能拿到主要發(fā)言人的發(fā)言稿(如果有的話)，了解發(fā)言人的說(shuō)話習(xí)慣。如果是交替?zhèn)髯g(就是領(lǐng)導(dǎo)說(shuō)幾句話會(huì)停下來(lái)等你翻譯)，則要在活動(dòng)開(kāi)始前禮貌提醒他說(shuō)幾句話就停下來(lái)等你……萬(wàn)一說(shuō)忘情了翻譯就慘了……。如果對(duì)方的外國(guó)客人說(shuō)個(gè)不停沒(méi)有停下來(lái)等翻譯，如果場(chǎng)合不是太正式(例如是普通會(huì)談在場(chǎng)沒(méi)有很多觀眾)，也可以在翻譯完一段后對(duì)對(duì)方說(shuō)類似Excuse me, would you please pause a while after saying three or four sentences?
